Product Overview
The Swing Check Valve is the industry standard for preventing backflow in large-diameter, high-flow piping systems. Unlike spring-loaded check valves, the swing mechanism relies on the force of the fluid flow to open the disc and gravity (or back-pressure) to close it, making it ideal for horizontal installations where minimal pressure loss is a priority.
Low Pressure Drop & Full Flow
Designed with a “full port” internal geometry, the disc swings completely out of the flow path when the valve is fully open. This ensures that the valve creates negligible turbulence and pressure drop across the line, maintaining the efficiency of pumping systems in Schedule 40 high-volume headers.
Heavy-Duty Bolted Bonnet Construction
Safety and ease of maintenance are central to the design. The bolted bonnet allows for internal inspection and cleaning of the seat and disc without removing the entire valve body from the pipeline. The seal is achieved through a high-precision metal-to-metal seat or an optional resilient seat, providing a bubble-tight shut-off against back-pressure.
Industrial Metallurgy
Fabricated from AISI 316L (CF8M), our check valves provide exceptional resistance to corrosion, oxidation, and erosion. The low carbon content ensures the valve remains chemically stable even when exposed to aggressive industrial media, ensuring a long service life in harsh B2B environments.
