Stainless Steel Hex Bushings Supplier in Saudi Arabia

Hex Bushings

Our Hex Bushings are high-precision threaded reducers designed to transition between different pipe sizes in a compact footprint. Manufactured from premium SS 304 and SS 316L, these fittings feature a male threaded exterior and a smaller female threaded interior. Available in 150# Cast and 3000# Forged classes, they provide a robust, leak-proof solution for reducing ports in Schedule 10 and Schedule 40 B2B industrial systems.

Product Overview

The Hex Bushing is a compact and efficient fitting used for “reducing” the size of a female threaded port. By screwing the male end into a larger fitting (like a tee, elbow, or coupling), it provides a smaller female connection point, allowing for the integration of smaller pipes, valves, or instruments into a primary header.

Compact “Space-Saving” Design

[Image showing a hex bushing installed inside a larger threaded tee] Unlike a standard concentric reducer, the hex bushing fits almost entirely inside the larger fitting, leaving only the hexagonal head exposed. This makes it the preferred choice for tight manifolds, modular process skids, and instrument mounting where space is at a premium.

Forged vs. Cast Performance

We offer two distinct grades to match your system’s pressure requirements:

  1. 150# Investment Cast: Ideal for general utility services, low-pressure water management, and food processing environments.

  2. 3000# Forged: Heavy-duty fittings designed for high-pressure hydraulic lines, steam distribution, and chemical processing where safety and wall thickness are critical.

Precision Machined Threads

All our bushings feature precision-cut NPT or BSP threads. The hexagonal head is designed for high-torque application with standard wrenches, ensuring a secure, vibration-resistant seal when used with industrial-grade thread sealants.

Applications

  • Instrument Mounting: Creating reduced ports for the direct installation of pressure gauges, temperature probes, and sensors into larger industrial headers.

  • Chemical Dosing Lines: Adapting smaller-diameter chemical feed lines to primary SS 316L process pipes in corrosive environments.

  • Modular Skid Fabrication: Space-efficient port reduction in compact modular process skids where standard concentric reducers are too bulky.

  • HVAC & Utility Manifolds: Reducing outlet sizes on steam, compressed air, and water distribution manifolds for localized equipment connections.

  • Water Treatment Systems: Providing transition points for chemical injection loops and sampling valves in large-scale filtration units.

  • Pneumatic Control Systems: Adapting main air supply lines to smaller-diameter pneumatic tool connectors and valve actuators.

  • Oil & Gas Maintenance: Replacing larger pipe connections with smaller specialized monitoring equipment in high-pressure 3000# systems.
